     Playa La Caleta also known as Matikis Island (local name) is only accessible by boat which you can hire in the town of Bagac,Bataan and also in Morong,Bataan.

     From the town of Balanga Bataan,ride a jeepney that will take you to Bagac,Bataan.From Bagac you can hirea boat cost Php 1,500 or according to your negotiation to the owner and after that it will take you now to Playa La Caleta.The boat ride consist of 15-20 minutes from from the coast of Bagac up to Playa La Caleta.

The entrance fee to the island cost 50 per head and the hut rental cost 500 pesos.The island has also comfort rooms.Bring also your own foods because it has no stores in the island.It has no electricity.Just a simple remote island which you can enjoy your private vacation for the whole day.
